Cheap Emergency Blankets
They certainly have their place in a survival kit and can be used for a lot more than I talk about here. But people also sometimes give them credit for being more useful and more durable than they really are. Personally I think using an emergency blanket as a primary shelter is just asking for a disaster. But if that was all you had and you wanted to use it to attempt to help keep you dry there are a couple things you can do to make them stand up to the wind and rain a little more.
