Always pay attention to the wind…Here is a quick tip on how to keep track of your wind direction while hunting from a tree stand or ground blind.  Wind direction is critically important to consider especially if you are deer hunting or trying to get game in a wilderness survival situation.  Take a look at the video below for an easy trick to keep track of the wind direction while hunting.

  1. Many years ago, I read an article similar to this one on wind and hunting. It suggested placing a piece of thread on the upper limb of the bow. I tried it and it worked so well I super glued thread to all of my bows. Where ever I am in the field, I can determine wind direction.
